Magento 1.3 Sales Tactics is Published

My new book, Magento 1.3 Sales Tactics, has just been published by Packt Publishing. My goal for this book is to help you solve real-world Magento sales problems with some simple, effective recipes. You can read a sample chapter on the publisher's website. It's too new for any reviews yet, but the CEO of Magento recently received a copy, and I'm eager to know what he thinks of it.

A very interesting book. I enjoyed reading it.

I specifically bought it for the Internationalization chapter which looked very promising in the table of contents.

However I think Magento still has some weaknesses in that area. Your description is great, but for a larger shop with multiple languages the standard Magento functionality is not enough.
Professional translators normally use translation memory tools which require to have the data exported in some kind of HTML/XML format and then translated in the translation editor.
Unfortunatelly it is not so easy to export the data from Magento and then reimport the translated content.

I found some workaround using external store manager applications, but even then it is tricky and won't help with CMS content.

It would be interesting to see if there are any better solutions that work with SDLX/TRADOS or similar tools?
